Bimstore.co.uk now live!

bimstore.co.uk

James and I have been working on a secret project over the last year, which we successfully launched last month:

 www.bimstore.co.uk

So what is BIMstore? Well it’s a place for manufacturers to place content and its a place for designers to find content.
All content and downloads are totally free. The content is created in cooperation with manufacturers, ensuring accuracy and quality. The BIM components are “virtual models” of real manufacturer’s products and contain all the data for design, analysis, scheduling and specification. They can be used throughout the design process, from concept designs all the way through to construction. Some can even be used beyond construction and utilised for FM”.

Although we have opened bimstore, we are calling it a ‘soft launch’ as we are now speaking with quite a few big name manufactures to not only get there products BIM compatible but to also host them on bimstore.co.uk.

We want bimstore to become the the number 1 website for quality free BIM components (itunes for BIM).
We hope you like the site and look forward to your feedback. Over the next few months we will be integrating many of bimstore’s community features into to Revitspace.co.uk!
